LCHR is pleased to invite you to a roundtable discussion on the government’s proposals to scrap the Human Rights Act. This meeting is an opportunity for leading human rights experts to brief Labour parliamentarians and assist them in formulating a response to the government’s proposals. The discussion will feature contributions from Tom Watson, Harriet Harman, leading human rights NGOs such as Liberty, Amnesty, and Justice and will include representation from trade unions, the legal profession and many other key stakeholders. The event will be chaired by Shadow Minister for Human Rights Andy Slaughter MP.
